James Jones & Sons Ltd, Timber Systems Division manufactures structurally engineered timber joists - the JJI-Joist - combining high-grade softwood with an engineered composite panel. These are standard building components used in commercial and residential construction as load bearing or non load bearing members for roofs, walls and floors.
A JJI-Joist offers many design and performance advantages over conventional structural products including a composition which resists shrinking and warping, an excellent strength to weight ratio, straight and uniform dimensions and FSC accreditation. Lightweight and planed all round, available in lengths up to 12 metres, JJI-Joists can be delivered to construction sites pre-cut or in cassette form, installed simply and quality assured with a lifetime guarantee.
JJI-Joists are available from a network of Authorised Distributors throughout the UK and Ireland, who offer an estimating and design service inclusive of JJI-Joist layout plans, engineering calculations and material costings.
JJI-Joists can also be supplied through selected timber frame kit manufacturers throughout the UK and Ireland, who can offer JJI-Joists as an element of their structural timber frame kits.
